About NoYo

NoYo is a new artists' residency program based in the former municipality of North York in the north part of what is now the city of Toronto. NoYo aims to provide air travel, an artist fee, material budget, per diem, and accommodation to one International artist for a period of 1-3 months. Artists in residency are invited by the curatorial committee.

We do not accept submissions.

Each NoYo residency takes place in a different residential live/work unit.

NoYo collaborates with partners in order to bring significant international artists to North York. In 2015 we worked in partnership with the Goethe-Institut, Fogo Island Arts, the Toronto Arts Council and North York Arts.
